Lenovo presents a new smart alarm clock with Alexa at CES
The classic internet-enabled clock radio already exists, even with built-in voice assistants. Lenovo's Smart Clock Essential is another smart alarm clock, but this time with Amazon's voice assistant and accessories to attach.
This clock with LED display, which can be used in any room of the home, connects to the network via WLAN and is supplied with Alexa. In this way, it offers the typical functions of the voice assistant, such as concise information, alarm clock or offers such as radio, podcasts and music streaming through Amazon Music.
The device features interchangeable docks, including a cradle for wireless charging of Qi-enabled devices such as smartphones or earphone cases. Two ambient light bases are also supplied, either in the shape of an octopus or a sea lion, with colored LEDs for night lighting in the bedroom.
